Living Art Care Guide

Light

Keep your arrangement out of direct sunlight.

Orchids

Mist the orchid flowers once a week with room temperature water (with the mist bottle provided).
Place 2-3 cubes of ice once a week, by the orchid roots not the leaves.
(avoid misting the moss as much as you can)

Pothos Plant (green leafy plant)

Water every 2 weeks or when topsoil feels dry. If soil feels very dry, gently remove the moss, then remove
the pothos plant with its plastic pot and liner from the arrangement, water thoroughly under the sink, let
excess water drain, and place it back.
If needed remove and water one plant at a time, to maintain the original shape of the design.

Hanging air plants (only some arrangements have air plants)

Carefully remove the air plant from the arrangement before care.
Soak the plant in room temperature water for 30 minutes (no longer) once every 2 weeks, and mist
weekly especially when air is very dry. Shake the excess water gently and place it back once dry.

Moss

Preserved moss requires no water. It’s treated to remain soft and colorful and should be always kept dry,
and not in direct sunlight.

Preventing Mold

While our plaster bases are sealed to resist humidity, they are not waterproof. All live plants have liners to
hold excess water. Always water only the potted plant, that has a plastic liner beneath the pot to prevent
water from seeping into the base. ( you can move the moss if needed to water the plants, then place it
back).

Need Refresh?

Life happens! If your arrangement was forgotten or needs a little love, just replace with new
plants, or we offer a refresh service for a small fee- it’ll look as beautiful as the first day again.
With a little care, your arrangement will continue to thrive and bring joy!
